So this weekend i spent almost a day in camp. First it was heading back to camp to get my handphone charger which i forgot to book out with. Also went back to fix the whiteboard which i was tasked to do.
Today, headed back to camp to be the advance of the advance party. Had to help set up the target board for the fire base for tomorrow's platoon live firing. Reached camp about 12 but only moved out @ 2. Vehicle cock up once again. Just a few more cock ups and I really would want to send a complain letter up to our S3 branch. It can't be happening all the time. Anyway, setting up the targets was really damn tiring. Finish around 4.30 and reached home around 5ish. Now i'm heading back to camp again. Yawns!
Next weekend i'm going to do some hardcore mahjong-ing. Anyone interested please apply via sms. :D

Was packing my drawers when I came across a note given to me by an ex teacher of mine. Couldn't remember who she was exactly, weather or not she was leaving us or was i graduating, but here was what her note wrote:
"The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent."
Reminds me of another reason why I want to go into teaching. And i jut keep getting reminded by the people around me that I have to make a decision for my future fast before I waste my days away....

Balakov. You should all check out his work, pretty awesome , i especially like the lego starwars album. One of his shots reminded me of something i tired a while back, but i used Darth Vader instead of a stormtrooper. A tap on my back for sure a great find. Haha!

Was your Good Friday any good?
So as I was exiting from the PIE toward CTE flyover, I saw a sign put up to inform drivers of upcoming changes, really did wanna take a picture and snap down what it said, but I think i would have cause a terrible pile up if I'd done so. Anyway here what it rough said if I didn't remember it wrongly - 'ERP relocating to make way for new flyover'.
The first thing that went through my mind was - Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut? Yea, like what the hell, they gantry was just set up like at most 4 years ago and only operational like 2 to 3 years tops. Now they are going to tear it down and build it some place else? What good use of tax payers money. And they say their the one with the future of singapore all planned out.

Didn't manage to watch
DJ Robin Skouteris perform last night. Quite disappointed but well if its a 'rule' than rules are rules. Ended up chilling out at Powerhouse, first time i was there, but definitely not the last time. Comparing Rebel and Powerhouse, i think Powerhouse would be better with cheaper drinks/cover and music which is more to my liking.

Just 6 more months and i'll be out. 6 more months and i'll have to make a decision for my future all over again. Further studies or work first, both have its pros and cons. But i don't really know what i
WANT now. Trying as much to use a gung-ho spirit to look at things but i won't want to end up doing what i don't enjoy and regret after it. The time to make the decision will come soon, and i'm gonna be the one to make it alone. Wish me luck.

Alright on here to update after a long long hiatus(self proclaimed). Lets start with Chinese New Year. Had a pretty long week, didn't get much sleep at all as most of you might know. Anyway nothing much just the usual annual routine no change in plans. Only thing was that this year, we were one hour late in moving off to the first house all thanks to Body Guards and Assassins. Some pictures from New Year.

Well as many of you don't already know, I'm know taking the Company Marksman Course with SIW at Pasar Lebar Camp. Will be there for another 1 week 4 days. Basically, me and my men will be trained in using the PGM Mini Hecate 0.338 and Steyr SSG 69 sniper rifle. So far have only gone for 300m range, what i can say is that the rifles are damn bloody accurate. Next week will be doing 400m/500m and open field live firing. Did want to take a picture to show the bruise i got from the recoil but couldn't find a camera to take the picture, now its healed. Maybe next week when i fire more rounds. If only i can really be sniper trained. D:

How i spent my afternoon today was getting myself this:
Yes a set of mahjong tiles. What happened was last week when we went for nights out at Safra Jurong, me and wei wen say this poster for a mahjong challenge. I didn't know what we got into us that made us signed up for it. So we went down to play today, but wei wen being the cockster he sometimes is, went to anyhow play and didn't make it. For me, i'd said it was more of luck and also the rules of the game. So played from 1pm all the way till 7pm, eyes were abit sore just now. But the experience playing with older stranger, for me it's fun and get to pick up alil here and there. Overall, registration fee was $16 compared to buying a set of mahjong tiles outside at least $55, i'd consider this an EPIC WIN. Now all i need is a table and chips and i no longer have to go the distance to play mahjong.
